Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Hogwarts is the foremost school of magic in Britain, a vast castle hidden in the Scottish Highlands and protected by ancient enchantments that hide it from Muggle eyes. Founded over a thousand years ago by Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin, it sorts each student into one of four houses.

Within its moving staircases, enchanted ceilings, and secret passages, generations of witches and wizards have studied — and where much of the war against Voldemort was ultimately decided.
