Slytherin
Slytherin is one of the four houses of Hogwarts, founded by Salazar Slytherin. It values ambition, cunning, resourcefulness, and a certain disregard for the rules. Its emblem is the serpent, its colours green and silver, and its element water. The common room sits in the dungeons, beneath the surface of the Black Lake.
Salazar's legacy also includes the Chamber of Secrets. Among Slytherin's most infamous students was Tom Riddle — later Lord Voldemort.
